Stop1 Results of the Air Nautique, World of Wake, Riders League
Stop 1 Church Wilne
Saturday 6th of June saw the first ever Air Nautique, World of Wake Rider League take place at Church Wilne Water Sport Centre in Derby. 21 riders were all ready to show their best moves and see what the competition had to offer. The weather was shocking for the morning practice sets but the tournament lake at church Wilne was still providing good boarding conditions for all the riders. The quality of riders was good with many of them throwing massive inverts, and the other trying to land there first. It was great to see so much determination to do their best.
The rain disappeared in the afternoon ready for the start of the main event the Limited Edition Byerly Super Air 210 was loaded and ready for the competitors to lay down their runs. 1st rider out was the youngest Will Powdrill who was amazing with the wake as big as him and the run he put together he is defiantly a name to look for in the future. As the afternoon unfolded the wind picked up which made the water conditions drastically change but this didn’t worry any of the riders and they all managed to have a great run.
